Refund policy

1. Right of Withdrawal

When you visit the website vitamed.at or make a purchase, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Withdrawal Period

• For contracts regarding the delivery of goods, the withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last item.

• For contracts regarding the delivery of data not stored on a physical data carrier, which are produced and provided in digital form (digital content), the withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of contract conclusion.

2. Withdrawal Period and Procedure

• You have 14 days to complete the withdrawal form, but no later than 30 days after the package has been delivered to you or an authorized third party.

• To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Vitamed, Bossigasse 21a/2, 1130 Vienna, Austria, Email: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

• To meet the withdrawal deadline within 14 days, it is sufficient to send a notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal and complete the withdrawal form before the withdrawal period expires.

3. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

In the following cases, we are not obligated to accept the right of withdrawal:

• Product Characteristics: The product's characteristics (e.g., taste, solubility) and the nature of the product are clearly stated on the website under "Supplement facts”

• Health Concerns: In case of health issues (allergies, hypersensitivity reactions, stomach pain, abdominal pain, headaches), we recommend consulting a doctor or specialist before consuming the product. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the customer wishes to return the product due to health concerns unless it is due to an error on the part of the company.

• Purchase Errors: In case of a purchase error, such as an incorrect address, returns may only be accepted under specific conditions.

4. Return Obligations

In case of a purchase error, product damage, or delivery error, we are obligated to recognize the right of withdrawal. In such cases, please contact us directly via email.

5. Withdrawal Form

Please note: The 30-day money-back guarantee is a voluntary goodwill policy and does not constitute a legal obligation. It serves only as a means of complaint and does not automatically entitle you to a refund of the purchase price. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising if you have chosen a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us). The refund will be made no later than 30 days after receipt of your withdrawal notice. We will use the same payment method that you used in the original transaction unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

Please note:

• The refund amount will be reduced by 6 euros due to logistical costs incurred for the return of the goods.

• For contracts regarding the delivery of goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

• You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period.

• You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

• You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires early in the following cases:

1. Sealed Goods: For contracts regarding the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the seal has been removed after delivery.
2. Digital Content: For contracts regarding the provision of digital content (not on a physical data carrier), the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have begun contract fulfillment after you have expressly agreed that we start fulfillment before the withdrawal period expires. Additionally, you must confirm your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon the start of contract fulfillment, and we must provide you with a contract confirmation, including the conditions for the early expiry of the right of withdrawal, on a durable medium.

General Instructions for Returning Goods

Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, ensure adequate protection against transport damage with appropriate packaging.

Do not return the goods to us freight collect.

Please note that points 1-2 above are not prerequisites for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
